Due to its many nutrients, which can satisfy almost all needs of the human body, acai is currently referred to as super food.

The acai action is essentially antioxidant, mainly due to the presence of anthocyanins, responsible for the anti-inflammatory effect, and also because it improves the lipid profile (increases good cholesterol and lowers bad).

Acai is a well known medicinal plant that, beyond its antioxidant action, has vasodilator, anti-inflammatory, tonic, energetic effect, and its internal use is mainly indicated for preventing cardiac diseases and strokes. It is also used externally, generally in cosmetic products.
